Do not take it as a holy post but it is about cemeteries and I guess (anyone believe in reincarnation ? ) these are the places which we will visit at least once in our lives. After all these exciting trips, a last destination. And, we, trippies, sometimes wonder how it is there. Sometimes for the respect, sometimes to clear our souls, sometimes for pray and sometimes to check out how we will also look like.

Abroad, I have been twice to a cemetery as far as I remember. First was in Paris, Père Lachaise Cemetery. Funny part is, it was my first place that I visited in Paris, yes, a good start :) This cemetery is a kind of celebrity cemetery which welcomes(!) millions of fans every year. I had shortly prayed for Ahmet Kaya, Jim Morrison and Yılmaz Güney. Second was in Kreuzberg, Berlin where we had a long walk through all graveyards. With the beauty of the weather, the scene and all our conversations, it was a special cemetery visit..

How I remembered these visits was my cemetery visit today, for my cousin who died at her 19. When I just stood up in front of her graveyard, at one moment, I really didn't hear anything outside. Praying for her, arranging the graveyard itself, watering the flowers on it...As the alive one, you try to do something to respect the dead one. And then you see hundreds of alives, doing the same things for 'their' deads. But on the other hand, we are all trying to figure out how our last destinations would be, as well.

Well, my cousin visited the last destination much more earlier than others, died at the age of 19 because of gas leak with 6 other university colleagues . At the same moment, the morning that she was found dead, I was flying to another destination, Munich.

Sad but true.
