One of the greatest part of trippies is having unexpected conversations with random people. During my trips, I have had such memories that I would probably never ever forget. But still better to keep them written as well. I will tell you short stories here, that somehow keeps place in me.
Let me start with the current story, from the city which I still survive, Bucharest. There's a very old lady who stands in need of help. She is not a beggar actually. She sells some basic religious icons & handmade stuff on the street. She is always at that same place, from very hot summer mornings to freezing winter nights..I realized her existence after a while and started to have little talks with her, with my so little romanian :) As far as I understood, she is around 70 years old, left alone on the streets, homeless and trying to survive..After a while, instead of giving some money, every Monday evening I started to prepare a sandwich for her. It went on like that for a while..
And then it was christmas time, around 1 month ago, she was again there. Everyone had already left to their hometowns and I was also one of the few who stayed in the city as I don't have much to do with christmas, actually. I went down to give her sandwich and she took out something from her pocket. How can I describe, it was a Jesus portrait on a fabric cloth (sorry about my vocabulary about fashion :) and she gave it to me as a Christmas present with a big Christmas hug. So that was the moment that really touched me...
She is still there, I stopped (not on purpose) preparing sandwich for her, but she still smiles when I see her..Ah what happened to this present - Don't know if it was the right behaviour but I gave it to a kid who came to my door to sing a christmas carol...He was also happy, I guess, I hope..
For some time, I will keep you busy with these little stories...Try to enjoy.
