Many of you might not know what is going on in Tunisia now, but actually there is a civil revolution right now and the rumours say that the president already left the country. The news are spreading around and I wanted to hear the story from a real source. Thanks to my dear friend, Houcem, who is a Tunisian and experiencing the revolution live himself has informed me. Hi Onur,
In two words it was a spontaneous public revolution against the president and the government. It was launched when a very poor fruit seller burned himself in the city center after a municipality officer (she was a women) slapped him because he hadn't a permission. 
After that the whole poor city started the manifestations and complaining about the high number of young educated unemployed people, the poverty, the corruption...
but the government gave the order to the police to use the fire, and many people were killed.
then the manifestation started in the other cities, and in Europe and america and Canada. 
And today, was the big day, when 60 000 people were in the manifestation in Tunis the capital and 40 000 in my city Sfax. Iin the end of the day the prime minister announced that president "ZINE EL ABIDINE BEN ALI" left the country and he is the president of tunisia.
but in this moment people went back to street because normally the president of the parlement should be the president in the case the current president left forever, but the prime minister said clearly that the president left temporary. 

So Tomorrow we will go back to the streets to finish the story, and the tragidy, after more that 100 people killed by the police,
