Romanian cities are not that fashionable that you can find info about in any tourist guide or travelling site. I feel lucky that because of being employed here, I have had chance to taste and experience here in these 2 years. I guess, I had time to see the differences between Bucharest and others, south and west, Transilvania and Moldavia..
And recently, thanks to friends, I had opportunity to discover another part of Romania during a short but full weekend trip through the path below : bucharest - buzau - focsani - bacau - pietra neamt
I again repeat myself that Romania has such a beautiful nature that only needs a well organized transportation to reach this beauty. Roads are generally ok, but need some arrangement, maintenance and additions. This area of Romania, namely Moldavia region, is the poorest region in the country and you can evidently see it. The level of civilization, social life, city planning and so on is much different and to tell the truth much behind of country average. Of course, it is normal, like in any country. It`s all about the economical activities, politics, Republic of Moldavia issues, immigration from these areas and so on..
It was the trip that I could unify Moldavia region - Romania with south east region and Turkey. The stories behind and results of these stories are more or less same. This is one of the important remarks for me about this trip. Another was the picturesque Piatra Neamt with its mountains and lakes around, completely natural and virgin...And last but not least, I realized once again that, each road I am taking, each new location I am visiting, each trippie moment I am experiencing is putting one more milestone in my life and that gives much more enthusiasm and belief for my travelling joy.
